How it works

Earn on the bill, spend on the next one

  1. 1

    Set the rate

Points per dirham, what a point is worth when it is spent, the rewards you give for points and the tiers.

  2. 2

    Earn on every bill

The till or the scanner works the points out from the paid bill. Cashiers never type points.

  3. 3

    Spend them

As money off a bill or on a reward, confirmed with the member's card code or a one-time code.

How businesses set their points

A family restaurant

One point per dirham. Guests can take a dessert for 300 points, or use 500 points as AED 25 off the bill.

1 point per AED 1 · a point is worth AED 0.05

A supermarket

Fresh food earns double, mobile top-ups and cigarettes earn nothing, and nobody earns more than 500 points in a day.

Category rates at the till · daily limit 500 points

A fashion store

Silver, Gold and Royal tiers over twelve months. Gold earns one and a half times the points, Royal twice.

Tiers: Silver × 1 · Gold × 1.5 · Royal × 2

A chain of pharmacies

Members earn in one branch and spend in another. Points expire after twelve months, with a reminder before they do.

Every branch · expiry after 12 months

Questions

About points cards

What is a loyalty points card?

A points card gives customers points for every dirham they spend. They use the points as money off a later bill or on rewards you price in points, and tiers let your best customers earn faster.

Points or stamps: which should I choose?

Stamps when most bills are about the same size and visits are frequent; points when bills vary a lot or you want tiers. You can run both: a points card as your main card and a stamp card next to it, from Starter.

What does a point cost me?

What you decide it is worth when it is spent. Insights shows the value of the points your members still hold, and the cost of the rewards you gave.

What happens to points on a refund?

At the till, the points of the refunded part are taken back, and points used to pay for it are given back. With the scanner, a manager undoes the visit.

Ready to bring them back?
